After 28 years, Below System Records has released North Carolina rhyme-vet Omniscence’s shelved 1996 opus, ‘The Raw Factor’, available now via CD and DSPs with pre-order for 2xLP.
Fully produced by Fanatic (The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim), the label is releasing another single from the project, “I’m On Mine”, which you can give a listen below…
Included in the Below System edition is four unreleased bonus tracks.
Though releasing two singles from the album (earning him a hip-hop quotable in The Source Magazine), label politics caused ‘The Raw Factor’ to be shelved.
This prompted the emcee to take a break from the game (a break which lasted decades).
