DJ Heron drops a new episode of his “House Of Heron” web series plus the resulting track, “Culture Shift”, featuring Choco Valens.
The prolific DJ Heron returns with a new episode of “House Of Heron” and single.
Presented by Gridlock Production House, this episode features another Miami, Florida emcee who enters Heron’s studio, draws several records from the collection (while blindfolded) for Heron to create a track and the emcee to cook to on the spot.
This time, it’s the highly unique Choco Valens and the resulting single is “Culture Shift” which is available now to stream and cop via all major digital streaming platforms.
This is the third episode and single related to the series with previous releases, including “Shut Up” featuring Shottie and “No More Games” featuring King Tetrus.
Originally from Brooklyn, DJ Heron cut his teeth in the early days of DJ culture in Miami.
Over the decades, he has worked with / DJ’d for artists including De La Soul, Mobb Deep, Smoke DZA, KRS-One, The LOX, and many more.
He has had a prolific year already including the series, a multitude of singles with his Spanglish boom-bap trio Grupo HNE (along with DJ Exes and Nando) and a full-length remix album of LoLife general Thirstin Howl The 3rd classic material entitled ‘Thirstin On Heron’.
