DeeJay Samps, longtime DJ and Hip-Hop supporter in the NC music scene, presents this impressive collective of talent which he brought together under his Street Flava Entertainment company.

Comprised of two MCs (Precyce Politix and Mallz) and four producers (E.a Poitier, Sharp Cuts, Steve Skyline, and Grammy-nominated D.R.U.G.S. Beats), the goal is to put their stamp on the music industry with quality bars and quality beats.

The first heatrock out of the arsenal is “The Purge”, produced by D.R.U.G.S. Beats. His hard-driving beat lays the groundwork for Precyce Politix, Mallz, E.a Poitier, and Sharp Cuts to drop high-quality bars.

This is the first of several singles leading up to a Street Flava Entertainment compilation.

Street Flava Entertainment is an independent Hip-Hop music label and management company based in Durham, NC that was formed in 2003 to manage and executive produce the group THYRDAY’s ‘Perfection Xperiment 2’ CD.
THYRDAY (J. Gunn, K Slack, Killa K) had production from the group’s own K Slack, Grammy-winning producer 9th Wonder, Grammy-nominated producer Nicolay, Khrysis, and Von Pea of Tanya Morgan. After the group disbanded when they went to college, DeeJay Samps concentrated on DJing at Duke University’s college radio station (WXDU).

He relaunched Street Flava Entertainment in 2019 with the signing of two MC veterans in the NC Hip-Hop scene, Precyce Politix and Mallz. Also, he has signed a production team of Grammy-nominated D.R.U.G.S. Beats, Steve Skyline, Sharp Cuts, and E.a Poitier. On the admin/staff side, DeeJay Samps is the CEO, A&R, and manager, DJ Miz is Director of Radio Promotions and DJ Outreach, and Icewater is the Social Media Coordinator. Street Flava Entertainment makes music for Hip-Hop fans of all ages who truly enjoy all the parts of the culture.
