Zonnique On The Cover Of Empeccable Magazine [july 2018 Issue]

Atlanta-based fashion, beauty, and lifestyle magazine, EMPECCABLE, is filling a void in the media landscape with the launch of its new digital and print monthly publication whose mission is to embrace, empower, and empact young women of color.

EM’s July 2018 cover features the daughter of hip-hop royalty, recording artist, and reality star, ZONNIQUE, who reveals what it’s like building her Pretty Hu$tle empire. The former OMG Girlz singer opens up about the creative freedom she now has as a solo artist and chats with EM about the industry moves she’s making to create her own lane. While she didn’t spill the tea on whom she’s dating, she did reveal the qualities she looks for in a love interest and shares what makes her empeccable! “We are so excited to feature Zonnique on the July cover of EMpeccable Magazine because she represents the young women of color that this magazine honors. She’s colorful, beautiful, talented, fashionable, entrepreneurial, and EMpeccable,” shares Dr. Alicia Cain, founder and publisher. Other celebrities who have been previously featured on the cover of the magazine include HeadKrack from The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Miss Black Atlanta USA 2017, and more.

EMpeccable Magazine launched in February 2018 with the goal of creating content that reaches young women from catwalks to campuses, and corners. Its precursors were two phenomenal publications entitled Girlfriend and Miss Sis which were geared toward African-American teens. Based on statistics which revealed that most of their subscribers were slightly older, Miss Sis rebranded as EMPECCABLE catering to the 18 to 30-year-old demographic. “When you think of something that’s empeccable, it speaks to being an exemplary person with high standards. That’s what we’re reaching for as we highlight the best in fashion, beauty, health, fitness, and finance. Along the way, we’ll feature popular male and female celebrities and highlight the achievements of some talented up and coming artisans whose work is also empeccable!”

EMpeccable Magazine promotes self-pride allowing young women of color to embrace their culture in a positive way while exploring their beauty, intelligence, and sense of style. EMpeccable’s founder, physician Dr. Alicia Cain, was born in Harlem and raised in Bed Stuy. Through personal and professional experiences, Dr. Cain knows first-hand how important it is for young people to have good male/female role models and a platform to showcase their often overlooked creative talents. “I firmly believe that the images and portrayals that we see (and don’t see) of ourselves, greatly impact our self-esteem, self-confidence and how we position ourselves for success. EMpeccable Magazine promotes self-pride allowing young women of color to embrace their culture in a positive way while exploring their beauty, intelligence and sense of style.” EMpeccable Magazine is Dr. Cain’s way of giving back to the community.
