British Couple Ann & Bernard McDonagh Awarded Donkey Of The Day

A British couple named Ann and Bernard McDonagh have been awarded Donkey Of The Day for dining and dashing by stealing over $1,200 worth of free meals.

Dine and dash takes on new meaning as married couple Ann and Bernard McDonagh, of Sandsfield, Port Talbot, Wales, went to five restaurants within a 30-mile radius of each other and stole over $1,200 worth of free meals.

Representatives at the Spanish & Italian restaurant La Casona had this to say…

“They use the same procedure with premeditation and continue to rob without any consequences.”

Speaking on another incident the McDonaghs pulled, the restaurant added…

“The woman tried to pay with a card which was declined. She said she would get another card from the car. We asked the boy to stay and wait for her in the restaurant. She left, and 10 seconds after, the boy started to run to the car.”
