Today, VDN Throwbacks goes back to 1999 when Canadian hip-hop pioneer Saukrates dropped his debut album ‘The Underground Tapes‘ via his label Capitol Hill Music & American indle label Serious Entertainment. ‘The Underground Tapes‘, which showcases his talent in its rawest form, came out long before Bigg Soxx became part of Redman’s Gilla House roster.
