U.S. Track Star Noah Lyles Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Criticizing The NBA

United States track star Noah Lyles has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for criticizing the NBA.

United States track and field star Noah Lyles, a six-time world champion, has a lot to be thankful for, including winning three gold medals this past weekend at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.

Unfortunately, he didn’t extend the same courtesy to the NBA.

Lyles had this to say at a press conference, “You know what hurts me the most is that I have to watch the NBA Finals and they have ‘world champion’ on their head. World champion of what? The United States?

In response, a few NBA players had some choice words for him.

Phoenix Suns power forward / small forward Kevin Durant said, “Somebody help this brother.”

Durant’s teammate, shooting guard Devin Booker, replied with a face-palming emoji in an Instagram comment box.

Denver Nuggets reigning NBA champion, power forward / small forward Aaron Gordon, said, “Whatever… I’m smoking buddy in the 200m.”

Former Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, and Golden State Warriors guard Juan Toscano-Anderson said, “Last time I checked, the NBA was the best competition in the WORLD.”
