Your Old Droog feat. Method Man & Denzel Curry “DBZ” (Audio)

Rap phenom Your Old Droog drops his new single, “DBZ”, featuring Method Man & Denzel Curry and produced by Madlib.

Brooklyn-bred rap phenom Your Old Droog has released a new track that’s produced by Madlib and featuring Method Man & Denzel Curry.

Droog flows over Madlib’s silky production going bar for bar with Wu-Tang legend Method Man and southern spitter Denzel Curry in an all-out slugfest, “…this Ukrainian getting billions, no Zelensky / all these projects I feel like Prince, b / YOD is KRS, you’re Prince Be, / get thrown off a stage / leave home in a rage / go home throw some navy blue on and burn sage”.

The track is a precursor to YOD’s upcoming album due for release this summer.

When Your Old Droog first entered the Hip-Hop scene a decade ago, he was cloaked in anonymity.

The Ukraine-born, Brooklyn-bred rap phenomenon was known solely for his sharp, punchy lyrics wrapped in a gruff delivery.

Some had speculated who the man behind the sophisticated wordplay was.

He finally came into the light with his eponymous debut release, the catalyst for what has become a prolific career.

Through eight LPs and ten EPs, Your Old Droog has crystallized his place in Hip-Hop as the erudite rapper who can tackle any beat with precision; a product of the underground, yet designed for the mainstream.

He has countless co-signs from some of the greatest to ever touch a mic, and now he’s finally geared to join them.

Over the years, critics have praised YOD for the way he sees the world and infuses that into his rhymes mixed with virtuosity that comes second to none.

His viewpoint is full of punchy pop culture references and tongue-in-cheek musings about the current state of rap. It’s his handshake, and one that’s served him well.

Your Old Droog’s “DBZ” track is also available now to stream and cop on all major digital streaming platforms
