(AURN) -- A white nationalist group called White Lives Matter, has been declared a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks extremists groups nationwide.
The White Lives Matter says on one of several Facebook pages:
"It's simple, white lives matter and it's time white people start bringing attention to white lives lost due to Black promulgated hate crimes."
Heidi Beirich of the SPLC tells The New York Times:
"That tells you all you need to know. They’re against integration, immigration. This is standard white supremacist stuff.”
Beirich is the SPLC's director of the Intelligence Project in Alabama.
The organization's comes a week after White Lives Matter protesters demonstrated outside the Houston office of the NAACP. Members demanded that NAACP officials denounce Black Lives Matter.

Other White Lives Matter presence on social media, include a Twitter account which rails against President Obama.
On the flip side, the Black Lives Matter website states:
"When we say Black Lives Matter, we are broadening the conversation around state violence to include all of the ways in which Black people are intentionally left powerless at the hands of the state. We are talking about the ways in which Black lives are deprived of our basic human rights and dignity."
