Powerhouse vocalist and rising star Wé Ani (Way Ah-nee) has released her new funk and jazz-infused single, “Hardwood”, via 19 Recordings and BMG available everywhere now on all major digital streaming platforms.
Of the song Wé adds, “I was staring at the floor in the studio and thought to myself ‘Wow, most dance floors are made of wood and make the best sound when people are moving. We ran with the idea of feeling the ground beneath your feet and being one with the people around you. There’s something electric that happens at a fantastic party, whether it’s with friends, family or strangers. This song feels like a timelapse of a really great party.”
