Watch RTD’s ‘Skid Row: Exposing Homelessness Disaster In Los Angeles’ Documentary

When you’re down and out in Los Angeles, you head downtown to the Skid Row district. Currently, more than 4,000 homeless people are camping out on the sidewalks of this blighted area amid squalor, violence and drugs.

Many are addicts, disabled, and/or mentally ill. RT correspondent, Helena Villar visited the notorious area to see how LA’s homeless deal with the brutal reality of life on the street.
