Genre-bending artist ZZ Ward has been all over the country performing at some of the biggest summer music festivals this past year. She had touched the stage at Coachella Music Festival as well as Bonnaroo, & theSTASHED caught up with the talented young artist at the Budweiser Made In America festival in Los Angeles.
She spoke with theSTASHED about being one of the first artists to touch the main stage at the festival, as well as how she prepares for hitting the road, & surviving her first festival season. ZZ Ward, whose free mixtape ‘Eleven Roses’ included interpretations of songs from Childish Gambino, Tyler The Creator, & Kendrick Lamar, also talked to theSTASHED about whipping out some serious harmonica skills that weren’t previously showcased on other projects.
