Video: @TooShort x @MeterMobb - You Came To Party
Today, legendary rapper Too $hort and his new group, Meter Mobb, release the music video for their song, “You Came To Party”. The up-tempo song was featured in an episode of HBO’s award winning show, Silicon Valley, and on the show’s soundtrack via Mass Appeal Records.
The music video for “You Came To Party,” stays true to it’s title following Silicon Valley star, Jimmy Yang; for one wild night on a party bus with Too $hort, Meter Mobb. Also joining the party is: singer Eric Bellinger; comedian Luenell; and Digital Underground’s Money B and Young Hump.
Throughout the video, as blow up t-rexes and Luenell hop on the stripper pole, and porn stars and friends ‘wild out,’ Jimmy Yang uses the Live.me app to stream the craziness to his fans. Live.me, is a live broadcasting community that provides creators a platform to interact with fans and provide fans a better way to get to know their favorite stars. Live.me personality, Liz Culley, jumps on the bus and with Jimmy and even “beams in” Mount Cyanide, a producer also featured on the Silicon Valley soundtrack.
As Too $hort gears up for the release of his next studio album, he has launched OG Records, signing a host of talent to his digital record label, based in Los Angeles, CA. The debut music and production team, Meter Mobb, hail from the Bay Area and consist of "VT" [Silver Samurai] and "Stoomie" [Victor Sagastume]. VT’s production and vocals may be familiar to fans of E’40’s West Coast hit “Bitch” featuring Too $hort and 50 Cent on the remix; that he produced and sang the hook on.
