For their album ‘Rubber Souls‘, which is available now, rap group Tanya Morgan have released their latest single “Eulogy” along with a video directed by Joey Angerone. The project, produced entirely by 6th Sense, is the group’s first album since the departure of member Ilyas & also the first release from the group since their lauded ‘Brooklynati‘ album. Group members Donwill & Von Pea have filled the latest album with notable guests including, Spree Wilson, Outasight, & Rocki Evans (of CharlieRED) & have developed an evolved style showing a more seasoned approach while still maintaining their trademark sound.
The video, which places Von Pea & Donwill in a desolate landscape with 6th Sense on the keys, deals with the idea of lost connections & uncertainty in life. Von Pea explains, ”To me…the video represents the lost/empty feeling we all feel at times when dealing with an adversity”. Donwill adds his take on the video’s overall vibe stating, “It’s what the serenity associated with death feels like, visually”.
