On Friday, July 26, 2013 in Atlanta, Ga, SouthEastern Concerts (SEC) presented their new segment to their SEC Hip Hop Series appropriately entitled LouisiLanta powered by MixtapeAtlas.com. The concert was hosted by Mr. Maurice Garland with sounds by Scotty ATL’s deejay, Deejay Mike Mars. Special headliners included Louisiana’s Nesby Phips, emcee/producer, from New Orleans known for his works with Tabi Bonney, Wiz Khalifa, Chip The Ripper, Haziq Ali, Fiend, Lil Wayne, & Mack Maine to name a few but most recently recognized for his work with underground phenom and childhood friend, Curren$y. They also welcomed Atlanta’s own Black Owned C-Bone, a member of the Hip Hop crew the Dungeon Family, with his recently released new single “College Park” featuring Jermaine Dupri. Underground artist Big Rec, REi, and Jay Jones graced the stage reppin for Louisiana as did underground artist W.I.C, Mic Barz, Renaissance, and Jack Preston did for the ATL.
As usual, SEC never disappoints with their high impact, continuously entertaining, and energetic show with an over abundance of real lyrical Hip Hop entertainment and talent. Each performance had everyone anticipating for the next. Although Phips, C-Bone, BIGREC, and other artist rocked, up and coming underground artist Mic Barz set the bar extremely high for the whole night. He dropped the jaws of fellow artist, hosts, deejays, and the entire SEC/MixtapeAtlas.com crew. Mic Barz brought energy, lyrics, originality, and genuine talent with his stage presence and performance and left a memorable impression on everyone.
SEC always brings forth the most cultural, unexpected acts, performances, and originality to the Hip Hop scene. Even on a night when Juicy J, J. Cole, and Kelly Rowland were in town, SEC still packed the house. SEC is definitely a company to stay in tune with and catch their next events and/or shows on MixtapeAtlas.com!!!
