Charlamagne Tha God: When you was on with Angie [Martinez] and all of us in here wondered. You said, you had a light problem with Nicki back in the day. We all was like, what the hell was the problem, why you ain’t ask what the problem was, man.
Remy Ma: It wasn’t a serious problem, is was just like -she had did a record over the “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah” beat. In the record she’s like ‘Tell a chick with the crown to run it like Chris Brown.’ I’m like, alright, I just did the ‘Whateva’ video, I got the crown. I’m like is she talking about me? Are you serious?
Remy Ma continues to explain confronting Nicki Minaj as a mixtape party.
“We end up having a conversation. I go to her mixtape party. We had a really good conversation. You know what, this goes out to everybody. Sometimes women in this business, they feel like they have to go at whoever is on top in order for them to get up. I was like, there’s room for everybody. If you’re different and you’re not doing what that person is doing, you’ll be alright. … I was trying to explain to her I’m not like that, you good. I actually watched her. Before she did I saw it because I was following her, I like her. I think she’s dope. … That’s pretty much it. I misspoke. I misworded it. so I made it seem like something more than what it was [and] I’ve never had a problem. … “

“So, please, all my fans that be on my Instagram, ya don’t have to bash her. All her fans -her fans is crazy, please leave me alone. We good!”
