Alternative Hip Hop artist Mindset follows up his latest single, “Purple Acai“, with a new video filmed and edited by Jake Petrone.

The visuals are shot at his frequented spots around Columbia, South Carolina ranging from his apartment, campus, and the woods.

The song speaks to making music as an outlet not just a passion.

“It’s about having the right ‘Mindset’ taking the negative things/situations in your life and flipping them into something positive, ‘Purple Acai’, without you, more for me” says Mindset.

The video starts and ends with an impressive face smash with a bowl of purple Acai setting the tone for the entire track.
