Video: Mike Invo & Cheese – D.Y.W.

Mike Invo & Cheese is a rap duo from Everett, MA whose hometown plays a big role in their sound and style blending modern and classic Hip Hop together. They are official members of Fresh Baked Music Group and have performed at numerous New England events including opening for notable acts such as Ghostface Killah, Onyx, and Twiztid. Both are solo artists first but have come together to put it down firmly in this rap game.

Their latest video, “D.Y.W. (Draw Your Weapon)”, has a traditional 90’s vibe and is produced by Jay Pluss. Directed by Sando Films, the visuals are shot partly in Everett and at the iconic Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, MA. “We wanted to get the Middle East in the video for a few reasons, it’s a staple in the local Hip Hop scene, and there are rumors it might be getting shut down. So with that in the video, we at least have the visual memory on top of many shows inside” says Mike Invo. The MCs keep it rugged and raw trading unapologetic bars back and forth with no hook.
