This year, The RapFest presented some of the most epic ciphers featuring the legendary rap group The LOX & countless others. It doesn’t stop there though, they’ve also gotten their hands dirty with the indie artists looking to make a name for themselves.

Allow The RapFest to reintroduce you to Grizz x RU, the 1st place winner from their first-ever artist showcase. They picked Grizz as the featured artist for this week’s segment of “Mean 16“.

Grizz won over the crowd & special guest judge Rob Markman during the showcase with a lot energy & crowd participation. The RapFest invited him to be apart their “Mean 16” series & drop a few lines over the Lavish-produced track from Cypher Series 6 which featured Mickey Factz, Maffew Ragazino, & Bizzy Crook.

He definitely held his own on this one with plenty of witty wordplay & harsh reality raps…Give it a watch below!!!
