New video lifted from the ‘Rapsploitation‘ album by Endemic Emerald & Skanks the Rap Martyr. “Legends Live Forever” is a touching tribute to NYC basketball legend James “Stixx” Williams.
Williams, known to everyone as Stixx, was 6-foot-8, blessed with a lean frame & a sweet lefty stroke, and he scored easily enough on more than one NBA star in the city’s summer leagues. “It was family & basketball: I don’t think he cared for anything else,” said his wife, Ranate Williams, who gives a heartfelt intro to the video.
Stixx was a mentor to dozens of young Black basketball players in New York, friend to NBA stars like Chicago Bulls’ Taj Gibson, & to troubled teenagers in the juvenile detention center where he worked as a counselor. Featured in the cut is Daddie Notch, cousin to Stixx & member of Bankai Fam.
‘Rapsploitation‘ has gained rave reviews from press & DJ support from Sway & King Tech on “The Wake Up Show“, DJ Eclipse, PF Cuttin, & many more. Featured appearances come from Shabaam Sahdeeq, Ruste Juxx, Tragedy Khadafi, Mic Handz, DJ Ready Cee, & Bankai Fam. Give the video a watch below & cop the album here on VannDigital!!!
