It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Toronto singer Ekelle.

Not too long ago, she let loose her new single–“I Need That“–to the general public.

Ekelle had this to say about the track:

“‘I Need That’ was written as a reminder that you’re that bitch, no matter what.

We’re all going a little stir-crazy now a year into the pandemic, but this is a track to help pull you out of a rut if you’re not feeling so sexy.

We’ll get back on the dancefloor one day, ditching the messy bun and putting on a fresh face of makeup, a dope outfit, and taking on the night like we used to.

You don’t need to be hard on yourself – you are amazing and so many better things are coming your way.
