D.Mac is a rapper based out of Connecticut that has spent the better part of this quarter looking to keep his name busy on all levels. From doing his own mini-tour across notable New York venues in September, catching the eye of DJ Drewski from Hot 97, D.Mac felt now is the time for the world to hear his musical venom. D.Mac’s music brings a hard hitting dark melodic vibe that he feels pushes the standard, something you may be able to decipher in the new visual for “203 Poppin.” Mac’s new project Separation Anxiety is inspired by Marvel comics Venom, which in-turn shows the venomous side of his music.
Coming from a state that’s constantly being overshadowed by the Hip Hop giant that is New York City, CT always delivers promising talent that is worth a listen. Many assumptions about the small New England state continue to hinder the growth of many of its artists, but it doesn’t mean they quit!
