Video: @ChristinaMilian Talks Lil Wayne/Birdman Beef With Hollywood Today

The rift between Lil Wayne and Birdman has put pressure on those around them, but many are hopefully things will get worked out.

During an interview with Hollywood Today, signee Christina Milian chimed in on the situation, echoing similar comments we’ve heard recently.

“It’s a little difficult,” said the singer. “I’m on the same record label. I’m on Young Money, so it’s a little difficult when it comes to business. I understand the circumstance for all of them. I think everyone’s trying to work it out and I wish the best.

“Honestly it’s been an empire that has been built between Baby and with Lil Wayne,” Milian continued. “You can only hope for the best and big things for the both of them, that they continue this grind that they have. They basically paved the way for people like myself having the opportunity to become successful. I pray it all works out. I know he prays the same thing, nothing but the best.”

In early December, Lil Wayne surprised them world when he blasted Birdman and Cash Money Records on Twitter, accusing them of holding up the release of his anticipated album, ‘Tha Carter V’. However, not much has been said since.

Reports say that while Birdman is hurt by Weezy calling out him, he has no intentions of releasing him from his contract. Stay tuned…
