Video: 2nd Trailer For Showtime Documentary 'Kobe Bryant's Muse'

Showtime has announced the premiere date for “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” the feature-length documentary that, as the network states, will give audiences a compelling and revelatory look at Bryant, like you’ve never seen before. At a critical juncture in his career, viewers will watch as Bryant attempts to cement his legacy, opening a window into the mind of an elite athlete still motivated to be the best, but also contemplating life after sports.

It’s set to premiere on Saturday, February 21st at 9pm ET/PT.

“’Kobe Bryant’s Muse’ will offer viewers a deep character portrait of a professional athlete who has transcended his sport to become a culture-moving personality,” said Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Showtime Sports. “We are thrilled that Kobe has given us this unprecedented access, which will allow our viewers to witness such a pivotal moment in the life of one of the NBA’s greatest players.”

Bryant, an 18-year veteran and 16-time NBA All-Star, has earned 5 NBA Championships during his time in the league.

The film is directed by Gotham Chopra and is executive produced by Kobe Bryant and Gotham Chopra in association with Mamba Media.
