Another man, 18, was shot about 12:25 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Blackstone Avenue in Grand Crossing, police said. He was dropped off at Jackson Park Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh and was listed in good condition, police said.
Also Tuesday, a 26-year-old man was shot about 7:25 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Madison Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. Paramedics took the man to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. It's not clear how he came to be shot.
About five blocks away in the same neighborhood, a man, 43, was shot about 6:40 a.m. in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street, police said. The man drove about two blocks to the Harrison District police station after he was shot while standing near his SUV, police said. He walked inside the station and requested help, said Officer Jose Estrada, a spokesman for Chicago police. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
