Video: 2 Dead & 10 Wounded In Chicago Drive-By Shooting

A 20-year-old man was shot about 6:45 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Keeler Avenue in the Little Village neighborhood. He was wounded in the leg, ankle and buttocks, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition stablized.

Someone shot a 25-year-old man about 6:35 p.m. in the Bronzeville neighborhood, police said. The man was shot in the 600 block of East 47th Street, near Champlain Avenue, and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in fair condition. Two men fled in a black SUV and may have been involved in the shooting, police said.

Someone shot a 17-year-old boy about 5:30 p.m. in the Galewood neighborhood, police said. The boy was standing in the 1600 block of North McVicker Avenue when someone walked up and shot him in the abdomen. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in critical condition, police said. No one was in custody.

At 4:52 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in the shoulder on the 300 block of North Central Avenue in South Austin, Tannehill said. The man managed to get himself to West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, she said. The man’s condition was not immediately available.
