What’s your take on today’s music industry???
It’s really a new game now. Very different from the golden age of Hip-Hop everybody loves.

How have you dealt with the “bad rap” you have gotten since Guru’s passing???
I have looked at the controversy. Lies & gossip as just that: false rumors, lies, & slander. We see this all the time now in Hip-Hop. Controversy is everywhere. The funny part is: they said no snitchin & these cowards was snitchin their asses off. Making up lies to false snitch & nobody called them on the no snitch policy. But I kept it 100 my dude, I didin’t snitch on nothing or nobody LOL.

Are there any solo projects from Solar in the works???
Yes. My new album, it’s already years ahead of anything ever done in music. It’s gonna be a game changer.
