Utah woman Kouri Richins has been awarded Donkey Of The Day.
“Some Donkeys just sell themselves!!!” –Charlamagne Tha God
A mother named Kouri Richins–of Kamas, Utah (which is about 40 miles southeast of Salt Lake City)–was arrested this past Monday (5.8.2023).
Now, why the hell was she arrested, you ask???
Back in 3.4.2022, Richins served her husband, Eric Richins, a celebratory mixed drink called the Moscow Mule.
After serving said drink, Richins decided to serve her husband up a lethal dose of fentanyl pills for dessert.
Her husband would eventually succumb to the fentanyl and it got a little more interesting from there.
Where this situation gets more interesting is that Richins thought it was a good idea to publish a book titled “Are You With Me?”, which has since been removed from Amazon, in order to “create peace and comfort for children who have lost a loved one.”
She would know… 🤔
In promotion of said book, Richins told KTVX-TV of Salt Lake City that “It took us all by shock. My kids and I kind of wrote this book on the different emotions and grieving processes that we experienced last year, hoping that it can kind of help other kids deal with this and find happiness some way or another.”
Richins has since been charged with aggravated murder and three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and is now currently awaiting a detention hearing which is scheduled for May 19.
