Rising DMV artist TyFontaine releases his new single and video for his “DOS” with Joony featuring Summrs and TTM Dawg.
There’s exciting news on the horizon for rising DMV artist TyFontaine as he and fellow hometown hero and Red Bull Records signee Joony join forces on his infectious new single, “DOS”, with rappers Summrs and TTM Dawg today via his new label home, MNRK Music Group.
“DOS”, short for Drugs Over Sex, feels just as trippy as it sounds.
Produced by L3GION (Brent Faiyaz, Pop Smoke, Meek Mill, and more), this foursome melodically drops bars with a true chill vibe that is sure to make those crazy stories told at parties seem all too real.
Sebastian Beltran directed the accompanying video which you can give a watch below…
The release of “DOS” is just a taste of what’s to come as TyFontaine gears up to release his new mixtape ‘264’, scheduled for December 1.
The mixtape’s title, ‘264’, represents the 264 hours he spent in LA recording the project.
It’s also the follow-up to his previous projects, ‘Yuheame’ and ‘Black Truck Life (Deluxe)’, released earlier this year.
Having been an independent artist since his departure from Internet Money, this mixtape heralds the official partnership between HighTide and MNRK Music Group, which has become TyFontaine’s new label home.
Having been an independent artist since May 2021 and the release of his debut album, ‘Ascension’, this union promises to inject fresh excitement as TyFontaine preps for his highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Ascension 2 (A2)’ in 2024.
TyFontaine’s versatile voice has played a pivotal role in revitalizing underground rap.
His vocal adaptability has earned him recognition from Lil Tecca, Trippie Redd, SoFaygo, Coi Leray, and more.
Best known for his successful debut album ‘Ascension’, this DMV native is gearing up to captivate a new wave of fans with his unique sound.
