Two White Men Charged w/Hate Crime For Attacking Black Woman At Wal-Mart For ‘No Apparent Reason’

Social media users identified two white men accused of racially harassing a black woman while shopping at a Wal-Mart store in Louisiana.

The two men — identified as 22-year-old Dylan Reynolds and 24-year-old Michael Walters — are wanted on hate crime charges in the Nov. 29 incident the West Monroe store.

Police said the men “terrorized” the woman “for no apparent reason” as she was leaving the Wal-Mart, which captured the incident on surveillance video.

“While in the parking lot the victim was yelled at and called a “n*gger,” police said in a report. “The female rushed the items in her vehicle and tried to escape the two white males while they were yelling racial slurs at her.”

The woman fled in her vehicle, and one of the men chased her on foot while pushing an empty shopping cart — which he “violently” pushed into the rear of her vehicle when she slowed down for a speed bump.

Police said the cart caused more than $1,000 in damage to her vehicle.

The two men then got into a dark gray Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck and sped away.
