A TikTok influencer has shared details of a hoax she created featuring Kanye West as speculation over his marriage with Kim Kardashian continues.
A rumor spread like wildfire across social media that the 43-year-old rapper had been having an affair with YouTuber Jeffree Star, mainly based on them both living in Wyoming.
While there were a lot of shocked Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans, who were trying to process this alleged tryst and how it affected Kim, 40, as she instructed divorce lawyers, Jeffree Star himself expressed his surprise at the wild allegations.
Of course, the beauty influencer denied any such affair happened and it seems that was with good cause, as the instigator of the rumor has denied there's any truth in it whatsoever.
Ava Louise rose to notoriety for her " Coronavirus challenge" in which she licked a toilet seat as a stunt.
She has admitted to be the perpetrator of the rumor and that she "made this entire scandal up."
Ava had posted a Page Six article on her TikTok on Wednesday which reported that Kim and Kanye's divorce was "imminent".
In the video, Ava said that she had some gossip that she had been holding onto "for months".
She alleged that Kanye has been "hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru."
Ava then liked comments in which her followers asked if the guru was Jeffree Star, indicating that he might be the one having an affair with Kanye.
She said at the time that she didn't have "concrete evidence" to back up her claim and now she has admitted it was completely false.
In a voice message posted on TikTok, Ava said: "There is literally not one bit of truth to anything I have said.
"I just tricked the entire world into talking about me again because I was on a lot of Adderall and bored.
"And that's on being an icon. We all had fun though, didn't we? You're welcome for the memes."
In the caption on the video, Ava wrote: "I was gunna wait to expose myself but clout chasing locals I thought were my Friends wanna do it first."
Ava is known for her stunts on social media, with her most headline grabbing one being trying to convince people there was a "coronavirus challenged" in which licking a toilet seat was involved.
It would seem though that this was not a challenge that was taken up by her followers.
