Titan sub company OceanGate has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for posting job listing during search and rescue mission.
A week later and the five missing tourists (who have since died) of the voyage to the Titanic shipwreck site are still the focus… and for good reason.
It’s bad enough that this situation has happened.
But unfortunately, shit will get worse from here starting with the following…
It has barely been a week since the five tourists have died and OceanGate, the company behind the failed expedition of the Titan submersible, thought it was a good idea to put up a job posting for a submersible pilot.
The ad for a “Submersible Pilot/Marine Technician” would “help manage and operate our fleet of manned submersibles and support vessels.”
But but but wait… There’s more!!!
The ad continues as follows, “We are looking for a committed and competent individual with combination of strong mechanical and interpersonal skills who can work on sensitive marine equipment, perform regular maintenance and operate complex systems to support dive operations.”
Let’s not forget that whoever is crazy enough to apply for this job must have a “willingness and ability to work offshore for weeks at a time as required.”
Another good thing about this job posting is said potential employee must have “experience operating small boats and working on large commercial vessels.”
It gets even better because OceanGate let’s it be known that this good job “is an excellent opportunity for a high-energy professional who is interested in a long-term position with a growing company.”
There’s more but we’ll let Charlamagne Tha God take over from here…
