This past Spring, after 5 years of being in operation, Producers I Know released two beat tapes by up & coming Detroit area beatmakers/producers. They both broke all of the previous records in terms of plays & downloads but one in particular shattered them. That aforementioned beat tape was Foul Mouth's 'Soul Louis'. The other was Nolan The Ninja's 'lo-fi loops'.
These beat tapes have raised so much attention to the point that they attracted the attention of Fat Beats, who distributed them both physically & digitally where they sold both nationally & globally. As of today, Foul Mouth's 'Soul Louis' is the most downloaded, streamed & purchased Producers I Know project in its entire history spanning over 60 releases.
Foul Mouth returns to the fold with the sports themed Fall/Winter beat tape titled, 'Winner Takes All'. The lead single featured the Cancer Ugly-directed video for "All Hail The Victor". You may remember Cancer Ugly as the artist who not only did the graphic design for 'Soul Louis' but also did the video for "Detroit Gospel" (limited physical 'Soul Louis' cassettes still available from Fat Beats & UGHH plus digitally on iTunes).
Foul Mouth sets out to capture the essence of different moods & seasons with each release and 'Winner Takes All' is no different. It's a 15-slap beat tape meticulously sequenced as a 2-sided beat tape that takes the listener on a journey. You can stream & download it below. Physical copies & more visuals will be forthcoming in the near future.
