Today (5.22.2020), South London’s Electro-Soul/R&B/Pop sensation Dornik releases ‘Limboland‘, his first full-length album in nearly five years. With guests Phonte (of Little Brother and The Foreign Exchange), Barney Artist, Skripture, Gavin Turek, among others, the album is an exploration of the personal, political and social purgatory that both Dornik and the rest of the world currently occupy.
“It’s been a weird time for me. I’ve been in limbo waiting nearly five years to release my next project. Now it seems the world has joined me in this bullshit. My escape is music, creating a world where I can escape the bullshit. I hope this album can be an escape for you, too.”” –Dornik

More About Dornik:
Dornik Leigh is a British multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer who arrived during the first half of the 2010s as one of the most unique and promising voices in R&B. He earned early co-signs from former labelmates Jessie Ware and Disclosure. Before launching his solo career, Dornik served as backing musician (drummer and vocalist) for Jessie Ware’s touring band. Dornik made his solo debut in 2013 with ‘Something About You’, a sweet mid-tempo single that fell somewhere between Frank Ocean and Musiq (Soulchild). Dornik’s critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album in 2015 earned him rightful comparisons to Michael Jackson, Maxwell, and the like with his soulful, modern take on 80s Pop that fell to the left of mainstream R&B. Dornik has now released his long-awaited full-length follow-up, ‘Limboland’.
