Camden, NJ-based artist Darnell Little has released his new EP “The Darnell Little Tape II”, which is a follow-up to his 2013 project “The Darnell Little Tape.” This is Darnell’s 4th release of the year and he’s going out with a bang.

The EP is personal & introspective; it’s lead by the positive and warm filled single “Shine” and the 808, hard-hitting single “Slow It Down.” Production is by Darnell Little with additional production by Brooklyn, NY Producer “Hajino” and Camden, NJ Producer/ MC “Fel Sweetenberg.”

About Darnell Little:
In a state of hip hop that is oversaturated with trap beats and club bangers, it feels like a breath of fresh ocean air when we find a gem hidden amongst the rubble; a sound we may have forgotten existed in hip hop. Darnell Little of Camden, New Jersey is one of those shining stars we’re waiting to watch explode in the years to come.

His music is described to some as “experimental”, “unorthodox” and heavily influenced by the trials and tribulations of his life. His music also has a “laid-back, “soulful” and “powerful” vibe that most musicians lack in this day and age. He was a nominee for the “Most Likely To Succeed” Award at the Camden Underground Music Awards. He also performed alongside PnB Rock (Atlantic Records), Mir Fontane (300 Entertainment) and Tdot Illdude at last year’s SXSW Festival and has been featured on Music sites such as “ThisIs50″, WatchLOUD”, YouHeardThatNew”, “RapReviews” and many others.

In July 2017, he announced his signing to Indie Label “Ropeadope Records” (which appeared in Okayplayer’s article “17 Independent Labels That Prove It’s Always Better To Do It Yourself” and which is also home to Grammy Award Winning Producers “Terrace Martin” (To Pimp a Butterfly, DAMN) and “Shaun Martin” (Snarky Puppy)). His music has gained over 1,300,000+ streams on various streaming platforms and he recently released his debut Album “BlackaMOOR”, which was released to acclaim. He will go on his first tour “The BlackaMOOR Tour” in Fall 2017 to promote the album.
