An immigrant from Lagos, Nigeria to Flint, Michigan, and eventually NYC, Ayo recently headlined Carnegie Hall’s concert series, National Sawdust, and has opened for international superstars including Davido, Gyptian, and Talib Kweli.

His new EP, SOVA, features political work like “Ifemelu“, which explores immigration and human rights issues in the U.S, turn up anthems like “Peculiar Mess“, which was added to Spotify’s Discover Weekly, and “Fkboi” which World of Dance featured to their 1.2 million fans on IG with a photo series.
