Rising Los Angeles-based Rap/R&B artist Steven G is excited to finally release his new EP ShowGreat University today via Entertainment One (eOne). The 10-song EP was executive produced by 15Hunnit Boy of the hit-making collective 1500 or Nothin’ (Jay Z, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake). The collection of tracks shows off Steven’s ability to give you hard-hitting rhymes as well as smooth serenades.
Steven also releases the Richy Films (Usher, Travis Barker, J. Balvin, Tyga) directed “Sex Commandments“, a highly anticipated fan favorite that is a sultry and steamy interpretation as Steven lays down the laws of the bedroom.
Steven G released the sexy track “I Need All That”, last week, along with the accompanying visual. “I Need All That,” is the follow up to last year’s single “Handcuffs,” which has amassed over 6 million streams across DSPs.
Steven first catapulted onto the social radar of many with a venomous freestyle back in 2017, based on the viral social media #SleepWalkinChallenge by Cali rapper Mozzy. Steven also developed a love for R&B music as he includes his musical influences to be Michael Jackson, Usher, The-Dream, Alicia Keys, and so many more artists that embodied what is deep in his soul. Steven fuses his rhythmic style of rap with R&B sensibilities and finds ways to innovate Cali music.
With a focus on his future, Steven has also developed his own clothing line “Show Great University” based on his motivational catchphrase, “SHOW GREAT,” as he describes it, is all about “Show UP, Show OUT, Show GREAT.” The line boasts a line of varsity jackets, hoodies, t-shirts with more to come.
