MaxKaella is not your typical artist. Born in the beautiful island of Haiti and raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida, MaxKaella was always determined to take the world by storm. Kaella honed into her craft at the age of 17 where she began to create cover videos to artists such as, Aaliyah, TLC, Monica, and more. MaxKaella is making it clear that she is no longer the seven-year-old shy girl from choir practice and school talent shows.
In an age of oversaturated media outlets that lend artists a platform, she’s surpassed all odds. Her fanbase grew tremendously after she went viral from her rendition of Kodak Black’s single, “Molly”, claiming her as ‘Maxxy from the trap’. Breaking out of her shell as the social butterfly, now known as MaxKaella, the mix between her sweet sound yet raunchy lyrics continues to raise eyebrows and draw attention from many.
The quick rise to fame, fell fast virally. Without releasing a follow-up, MaxKaella found herself once again in the same pot of rising artists, trying to break out. Now, she returns with “Money Dance” a single showcasing her hustle and desire to reach newer heights in her career, by any means necessary.
“I love being able to look and sound innocent or sweet but can also keep up with any other lyricist. I’d like to think of it as my Super power.” –MaxKaella
