South Carolina Man Joseph Scott Oberlies Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Breaking Into Ex’s Home & Throwing Her Child’s Ashes In The Trash

South Carolina man Joseph Scott Oberlies has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and throwing her child’s ashes in the trash.

Today’s Donkey Of The Day is a reminder of why we as a people (as in the world population) should do our best to keep our emotions in check.

Last week, 34-year-old Joseph Scott Oberlies–of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina–broke into his ex-girlfriend’s (who is nameless as of this post) house and eventually throwing her child’s ashes in the trash.

Oberlies, who was out on bond for prior charges at the time, was caught on a doorbell camera walking in and out of his ex’s house.

According to the ex, it was literally hammer time as Oberlies took an actual hammer to her flat-screen TV.

Oberlies ended his tirade by taking his ex-girlfriend’s child’s ashes and throwing them in the trash.

The mystery ex told the cops, “I’m afraid he would have killed us if we were here.”

She had also shown a text Oberlies had sent saying, “please don’t press charges, I’ll pay for whatever I broke.”

Oberlies added, “he was blackout drunk and does not remember.”

As a result, Oberlies was charged with first-degree burglary and destruction or removal of human remains.

Oberlies was also booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center where he bonded out for $60,000.
