SoundCloud Signs Licensing Deal w/Sony Music w/Subscription Service To Come Later This Year

Of course, most of the world knows by now that music site SoundCloud has signed a licensing deal with Sony Music Entertainment with an upcoming subscription service to come later this year. While this arrangement is good for SME (and possibly, the artist), this move is bad for the customer as they will have to pay at some point to keep using the service.
