Soul-Rebel Marley Drops “Holy Father” Single & Lyric Video

Soul-Rebel Marley continues his musical journey with “Holy Father”.

Soul-Rebel Marley continues along his musical journey with the release of his second single “Holy Father”, out today on all digital platforms via partnership with the artist’s own Tek Time Productions imprint and his family’s Tuff Gong International label.

Building on the spiritual direction of his debut single “Loving Jah”, released earlier this year, the multi-talented Soul-Rebel offers gratitude to the Almighty on the self-produced sophomore track.

“Holy Father” finds the young maestro flexing his versatility with an infectious Afrobeats groove, anchored by the hypnotic chant:

“Holy Father, I pray to you / Give thanks to you / For all you do”

An official lyric video for “Holy Father” also premiered on today.

Marley’s message of devotion illuminates the screen in the new visuals.

Adding depth and purpose to the “Holy Father” vocal layering is Soul-Rebel’s Grammy award-winning mother, Cedella Marley, who, once again, contributes angelic harmonies to the mix, as she did on “Loving Jah”, a song inspired by her father, Jamaican musical icon, Bob Marley.

“‘Holy Father’ is like a prayer — me praying for fair winds, guidance, protection on the journey through the sea of life for myself and my people, while giving thanks for everything he has done and is going to do,” said Soul-Rebel, a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing piano since the age of 6.

He has previously produced tracks for his cousin, Jo Mersa Marley, and his aunt, Sharon Marley.

Soul-Rebel also recently joined his Grammy award-winning brother Skip Marley on stage for performances in Las Vegas, Redondo Beach, CA, and at Jo Mersa’s birthday celebration in Jamaica.
