Solange Starts Her Own Record Label With 100% Creative Control Included

Solange returns to Sony Music Entertainment, not only as an artist, but a label owner as well. Since starting her career on Sony’s Columbia Records, the “Losing You” singer has bounced from major labels to independent companies to progress her music career.

Her new label, Saint Records, will first release Knowles‘ full length album. In addition, she plans to produce other artists as well. “Through Saint Records, I will have 100% creative/artistic control & continue to passionately pursue my footing in this new musical movement,” announced Solange.

Before false rumors spread rapid, Solange reluctantly announced the formation of her new business. “Wasn’t ready to announce, but since false info is spreading, I will gladly do so,” she adds.

The news on her record label accompanies her being featured on the cover of Complex Magazine’s new issue.
