SiriusXM launched a new podcast centered on pioneering hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan. Hosted by hip hop personality King Tech, Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues is now available on SiriusXM and Pandora.
Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues is an original podcast that accompanies Hulu’s original series from Imagine Television Studios, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, with 10 episodes reflecting on the themes and events depicted in the Hulu series. The podcast will also feature interviews with Wu-Tang musical mastermind RZA,Wu-Tang: An American Saga showrunner Alex Tse, both of whom serve as writers for the Hulu series, and will also have special appearances from Wu-Tang Clan fans including SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway, Estelle and Kxng Crooked.
Inspired by “The Wu-Tang Manual” and “Tao of Wu”, Wu-Tang: An American Saga is based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most influential and important groups in hip-hop history. Set in early ’90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.
New episodes will be available in conjunction with Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga on the SiriusXM and Pandora apps every Wednesday. Episodes 1 through 6 are now available on SiriusXM and Pandora.
