Scottish Man Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Mistakenly Attempting To Rob His Son

A Scottish man has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for mistakenly attempting to rob his son.

Desperate times call for desperate measures and today’s Donkey Of The Day is a highlight of such.

Sometime last year (11.19.2022 to be exact), a 45-year-old man was plotting to rob a 17-year-old boy at an ATM in Cranhill, Glasgow, Scotland.

Unbeknownst to the boy, the man attempting to rob him was later revealed to be his own father.

In shock, the boy asked “Are you serious? Do you know who this is? What are you doing?

The father’s response was “I’m sorry, I’m desperate.”

Damn right he was desperate especially since all he would’ve gotten out of his son was a whole £10 ($12.16 United States dollars).

Hopefully, it was worth it for the father as he is now serving a 26 month-prison sentence behind this action.

*Under Scotland law, neither the father nor the son’s names have been released for legal reasons.
