It’s crazy how people that don’t need to have kids have kids all over the place while people that want kids can’t have kids to save their life.
According to WTRF:
A Moundsville man is behind bars after reportedly throwing his three-year-old son and two-year-old daughter in a dryer, and then recording it on Snapchat.
Ryan Barr, 24, is currently in Northern Regional Jail following the incident.
According to a criminal complaint, staff at McNinch Elementary School saw a Snapchat video of Barr putting his children, ages three and two, into a dryer and turning it on.
The staff contacted School Resource Officer Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Morando.
In one video obtained by officers, the young female is in the dryer, and then Barr closes the door. While the door is shut, you can hear the young child in the dryer screaming.
The second video shows Barr putting the young male in the dryer and turning the machine on for a short period of time.
While the dryer is on, Barr is seen looking through the window of the dryer so he can see the young boy spinning around.
Deputy Morando said that a woman was in the shower in the home during the incident. When the woman got out of the shower, she told police that a friend told her that she was posting a video on Snapchat of the kids.
According to the criminal complaint, Barr told Deputy Morando that he was trying to teach his son not to be scared.
CPS has been contacted by deputies, and the disturbing videos have gone viral.
“I understand that, anytime something happens to one of our community’s children, yeah it just strikes a chord,” said Chief Deputy Bill Helms.
Barr turned himself in to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
He is charged with one count of child neglect with significant chance of bodily injury, and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
If convicted, he could face one to five years in the state penitentiary.
With all that being said, Ryan Barr has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for that reason. Here’s what Charlamagne Tha God had to say on the situation below…
