The Boot Camp Clik’s Rockness Monsta shares his new video, “Get It Movin”.
After a 30 year-long career, cementing his legacy in the ‘90s through the early aughts as a part of the legendary Boot Camp Clik and one half of rap duo Heltah Skeltah, Rock (also known as the Rockness Monsta) released his sophomore solo album ‘Ether Rocks’ on October 21st via American B-Boy Records/Fat Beats.
Produced entirely by Ron Browz (Nas’ “Ether”, Jim Jones’ “Pop Champagne”), the 12-track album features Method Man, Steele of Smif-N-Wessun, Ruste Juxx, among others.
Today (5.4.2023), Fat Beats shares the official music video for the album standout “Got It Movin”, directed by The Last American B-Boy.
From ruminations on legacy (“The Answer”, “Pay Me”) to gun rights (“Flamboyant”), ‘Ether Rocks’ offers a modest expansion of what fans have grown to understand about the veteran Brooklyn emcee, both the man and the rapper.
The album is available now on all DSPs, CD, and vinyl.
