Richy Rich (born 12/15/88 in Brooklyn) was raised between Raleigh NC and Brooklyn. The hood gave him the name “Rich Kidd” at a young age. He was always about the money, clothes, cars, and jewelry. Richy began recording other artists, making beats, and making money off music as well.

Richy linked up with DJ Jammaster J-Son (son of legendary Run DMC DJ Jammaster J) to form Rapstar Records. Richy began growing so much lyrically, and has such a high ambition, that the two agreed that he should be the flagship artist.
