Prox Centauri releases his new EP, ‘Emergence’, featuring Skyzoo, Planet Asia, and KXNG Crooked.
Flint, Michigan emcee Prox Centauri is finishing the year with ‘Emergence’, an EP that encapsulates and defines many of the themes that will be present on his upcoming LP, ‘Straying Off The Primrose Path’.
With Atlanta’s Black Metaphor (Rick Ross, Jeezy, Isaiah Rashad, The Game) and Skyzoo, KXNG Crooked, and Planet Asia lending spectacular verses to the project, fans of the Flintstone are sure to be pleased.
The EP’s title is in reference to the state of being in bloom and emerging from the Earth; peering over obstacles impeding the path to existential wellness and surviving the harsh gestational period that metamorphosis demands.
“I’m still finishing up the full-length joint but I knew I had to get something out for the listeners before year’s end. There is much more on the way, but hopefully, folks can take something away from this. It is still surreal to watch everything unfurl in real time and become tangible but I have worked for this. I have suffered for this. I have evolved for this. This is emergence and I am emergent.”
‘Emergence’ is available now for streaming, download, and purchase on all major DSPs
