Pretty Bulli and Kidd Called Quest share their new album, ‘Then & Now’.
Buffalo, NY’s lyrical champ Pretty Bulli has been amassing a legion of true hip-hop fans over the past few years.
Many of her singles of late have had soulful boom-bap power courtesy of Rochester, NY producer Kidd Called Quest (Jae Hussle, Young Black And Gifted).
The result is the newly-released LP, ‘Then & Now’, out now exclusively via Bandcamp.
Thirteen tracks deep, the album features guest verses from Jaz-O, Curtis Coke, Ken-C, and Source Academy Kid.
A music video, directed by Black Belt Jones, for the album’s single “Confidence” also recently dropped and you can give it a watch here.
Speaking on the album Kidd Called Quest boasted “I think this project is something special, not just for the Western New York Region fans but for true hip hop lovers and fans of the art all over.”
Many industry legends echo Kidd’s sentiments as Pretty Bulli was recently invited on “Sway In The Morning” and “Rap Is Outta Control” to spit.
