Pheelz's New Single Will Make You "Go Low"

Music star Pheelz releases energetic visualizer for his new single, “Go Low”, as the follow-up to his feature and collab on Usher’s latest single, “Ruin”.

Garnering huge international success over the past couple of years and bringing in 2024 with the release of “Ruin” – his collaboration with US R&B superstar Usher, a song he not only features on but he wrote and produced – the award-winning, highly-celebrated Nigerian music star, producer and multi-instrumentalist Pheelz returned last month with the release of his massive new single “Go Low” (out now via Warner Records).

He has now dropped the energetic visualizer for the single!!!

Helmed by Pheelz’ signature, world class production which deftly mixes and bends genres from sunny Afropop to smooth R&B and energetic Hip-Hop, “Go Low” brings an urgent and defiant new sound for the rising star, which sees him incorporating addictive House and Electronic sonics alongside his seductive and hypnotic vocals.

The visualizer features special choreography for the single, which has already started to takeover social media.

Written and produced by Pheelz, the single is set to be an early contender not only for the song of the summer, but one of the biggest songs of the year and has already received major co-signs from other leading figures in the music industry, including the Grammy Award-winning producer and recording artist Timbaland who said Pheelz is “changing the narrative” and described the song as the “phase two of Afrobeats”.

Speaking on “Go Low“, Pheelz said:

There’s too much low vibration and energy in the world so I just want the Triibe to dance and vibrate higher for a little moment with this song and also to show the world the energy of where I’m from.

Last month saw the release of Usher’s hotly anticipated new single “Ruin” – the hit song which Pheelz is featured on and he also wrote and produced.

Released ahead of Usher’s career defining Super Bowl Halftime performance the song debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart and is taken from his newly released, 9th studio album ‘Coming Home‘ which reached the top spot on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums.

Also producing and writing the album’s title track featuring Burna Boy, Pheelz recently spoke to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music show on the experience of collaborating with Usher on his album, stating “it showed me how far the music has gone and it shows me how far dreams can go as well.

Pheelz released his 4-track EP ‘Pheelz Good (Triibe Tape)’ last year, which has gone on to amass almost 13 million global streams and includes the feel-good anthems “JOY” featuring Afrobeats legend Olamide and “JELO” featuring fellow Afrobeats sensation and producer Young Jonn.

The must-listen EP only serves to magnify his undeniable impact around the world.

The stand-out talent has made the most of every opportunity that has come his way since the breakout virality of “Finesse” which established him as one of Nigeria’s most gifted producers and songwriters, as well as an international star on the rise.

The single remains a phenomenon, eclipsing over 300 million global streams and counting, with more than 100 million YouTube views on the music video.

The single – which spent 20 weeks on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart, peaking at #1 – was included in Barack Obama’s 2022 Summer Playlist, features on the “FIFA 23” soundtrack and was named as one of the Best Songs of last year by many major media outlets.

He was named “Artist To Watch” in 2023 by Pandora and Amazon Music.

After “Finesse” catapulted him on to the global stage, he built on the buzz with a dazzling set at Essence Fest’s Afrobeats After Dark party in New Orleans and made his US television debut with a performance on “NBC’s Late Show with Seth Meyers“.

Pheelz was the first Afrobeats artist to perform at the BET Awards Pre-Show, where he earned a 2022 nomination for Best New International Act.

He was also one of the most nominated talents as both an artist and producer at last year’s The Headies Awards.

Now with the release of his new single, “Go Low”, his upcoming headline slot at LIT LAGOS at Electric Brixton on April 13th and the promise of more new music and creative endeavors throughout the year, Pheelz is moving into 2024 with gusto and staking his claim as one of Afropop’s biggest global stars!!!
